My train was over seven hours late arriving in Chicago due to a disabled freight train. AMTRAK was nice and put us up in a hotel for the night. Now, I have been to Chicago before and personally, I think it looks nicer than New York.

PHOTO-JOURNALISM TRIP TO THE WEST PART 2
In part one of my west coast posting, I showcased the pictures from California. These are the photos I took on the train ride coming back to New York. Really, these are the pictures I took on the ride from Sacramento to Chicago. A good friend got me something to put on the lens, allowing me to take pictures on the window while the train is in motion. Unfortunately, the train was over six hours late so I couldn't get pictures of Denver, because it was too dark.
First set is from Sacramento, California. I used to live here for close to three years and I loved it. Unlike most of California, which has a lot of beautiful hills and mountains, Sacramento is a flat valley town. It doesn't share the beauty the Bay Area has, but it is cozy. And more affordable.
