Miscellaneous stuff from my phone I

Most of the pictures in this blog come from my professional camera.  I take a few with my Samsung Note and now my new point and shoot camera.  getting photos off the phone can be a chore because of transfer issues.  I can only transfer one picture at a time from the Blogger app.  If I go through the photos, I can only transfer certain pictures.

This first is from my 2020 trip to New England.  This is from Boston

PHOTOJOURNALISM: BUFFALO

As nice a city as Buffalo is, it has the least attractive landscape of all the cities I have traveled to.  Nothing really stood out.  I am planning a return there to get Niagra Falls in so maybe things will pick up.

PHOTOJOURNALISM: Indianapolis, Indiana June 2021

This was the first time I was in Indianapolis since either 1989 or 1990 when I visited my cousin and his family and attended the state fair.  Unfortunately, he recently passed away and I went back to attend the memorial service.  His wife (she IS my cousin, but to simplify my narration I say "his wife") put together a wonderful service.  I don't generally post pictures of family or friends, so this post is just about the beauty of the city.  And I never knew Indianapolis was as beautiful as it is.I saw a lot of very nice homes and everything is spread out.  Unfortunately, I am a New Yorker (and Californian) at heart.  I will visit again though.  These pictures are of the court in the downtown area.  I have some other pictures I took with my cellphone which I will post soon.

PHOTOJOURNALISM: Camouflage in Orchard Beach

Definitely not my best nature picture.  However, if you look closely or enlarge the pictures if you can, you will see the deer I was looking for.  I called this "camouflage because the deer blend in perfectly with the background.   Sadly, I was more afraid of the deer than they were of me.  A friend who was with me mentioned that since this was a young deer the father could have been around and may protect other young deer, and I overly thank that and was in caution mode for the rest of the hike.  Another note:  deer poop is probably worse than horse poop.
