Midtown at night

My New York walk

RYE PLAYLAND (finish)

The last of Rye.  Included are the people fishing.  I can only assume that they were just relaxing.  I wouldn't eat any fish from there, lol.

RYE PLAYLAND (part 3)

More from Rye

RYE PLAYLAND (part 2)

I guess what made this trip a bust (aside from the fact you have to pay to get into the park) was that I didn't notice any wildlife.    There was water and a river-beach, but  no wildlife.  I noticed one duck.  As you will see in one of the next parts there were people fishing but I saw no fish.  The water was actually dirty.

RYE PLAYLAND

Ultimately this trip was a bust.  I had never been to Rye Playland and I Figured it was like Coney Island.  I was right and wrong.  It is like Coney Island on a tiny scale and no salt water.  There are more boats on Rye Playland though.  Also, you have to pay to go through the park at Rye whereas you can just walk through Coney Island.   Finally, I had to take Metro-North to get to Rye which cost close to $20.  Coney Island would have been a regular metrocard use.  Next time I am going back to Coney Island.  At least there I could have had a hot dog from Nathan's.  I would have had to pay $10 just to get to the Nathan;s at Rye.

Anyway,  hope the pictures are ok.
